This coaching to youth and young adults facing adversity, emphasizes a multiple pathway model and 1:1 approach to meet each youth where they’re at and help them build a vision of what’s possible for their futures.
This Spring the RA career coaches have been working with several partners providing customized career readiness services in Denver and Northern Colorado, including CO Uplift, Mile High Youth Corps, Mile High 360, The Family Center, and Partners.
So far this year, Realizing Aptitudes has served 79 students and provided 255 services!
Collective Impact Work
Forward Steps passionately believes in and advocates for the power in collective impact. We are actively working in cross-sector partnerships to address issues in Colorado’s Talent Pipeline. Both programs embody this ethos in its work to reduce siloed program delivery. It is of utmost concern to work with partners to advance common goals. These goals pertain to high school graduation, postsecondary/credential enrollment and attainment. Workforce entry with a sustainable wage is, additionally, a high priority.
This Spring, Forward Steps is continuing its expansion into Northern Colorado. We are working with the Thrive by 25 Collective Impact Initiative convened by United Way of Weld County!
