Mile High Youth Corps

We’re thrilled to announce our continued partnership with Mile High Youth Corps this summer! Our team is joining forces to empower land and energy conservation crews with essential skills in networking, interview preparation, and professional communication.

Through engaging workshops and hands-on activities, Corps members will have the chance to practice with our coaches and each other.  We’re collaborating closely with Mile High Youth Corps staff to create dynamic and impactful programming tailored to the unique needs of those in the field and in the classroom over the summer.

Realizing Aptitudes, Career Coach, Paula Pineda, has been leading group coaching sessions for the YouthBuild program at Mile High Youth Corps. These sessions cover essential topics such as career exploration and planning, time management, habit-building, and self-care. By providing these valuable tools, Paula is helping participants smoothly transition into their next steps after earning their GEDs and completing the program.

We are excited to announce the opening of the new teen center at the Boys and Girls Club of Weld County this June! Throughout the summer, we will be offering coaching on career development topics, including resume development and job search in their dedicated “Career Room.”

Colorado Uplift

Another thrilling partnership this June is with Colorado Uplift for their inaugural High School College and Career Event on June 12th. This event aims to expose and educate students on various college and career opportunities through an engaging, rotation-style program. Students will participate in 30-minute sessions across 3-4 different workshops, gaining valuable insights and skills for their future endeavors.
